Default Shifted 3-2 at the track...what could I have broken?

Went from 3-2 in the TA and ran a 14.0/76. 1/8th mph was 85 and after that run every run with similar driving netted 81 mph. What can cause that power loss? What should I check for? Compression test? Bent pushrod? Plugs?
Thanks

look for several bent pushrods and excessive tapping noises!

pushrods should be the first thing you check, they bend reeealll easy when mis-shifting..

A buddie missed the 4th and hit 2nd in his SS. We pulled his pushrods and about 75 % were at least a little bent with about 3 or 4 giving a pretty nice wobble/hop. We were going to swap in my stock pushrods but they were almost as bad and Ive never missed a shift . Stock pushrods = week me thinkie . We ended up just grabbing the best of the buch and patching it up but it wasnt easy getting 16 good ones out of 32

Most likely is pushrods, but valves and spun bearings are also possibilities.
