Possibly broken fuel gauge
I have a 2000 Firebird and the fuel gauge has been acting crazy lately. In the past while taking a long right turn for an on/off ramp, the fuel gauge needle would go all the way to empty and the light would come on. Then once you stopped turning it would reset back to normal.
Now when taking those long right turns the needle goes to full and won't go below half. Sounds like something is broken in there, what do you guys think? And estimates on cost to fix?
Thanks.

sounds like the float in the tank, honestly not worth the costs to fix, never trust a fuel gauge anyway, reset your trip odometer every time you get gas and learn how far you can go on about 10-12 gallons and use that as a guide of when to fill up, best not to run the tank to low (hence the 10-12 gallons for a maximum between fill ups).
