Ram Air Hood Decals Howdy. I have a 97 Firebird Trans Am. I bought the car and the owner said it was stored over winter, but I think it was stored in an open car port with the front end exposed to the elements. Anyways, the hood has dirt ect. that's gone through the clear coat and now the hood needs painted. I plan on taking it to get painted, but will the place that paints it be able to put the "Ram Air" decals on? Does anyone know if I should just get some myself after it gets painted? I imagine it would save a couple bucks. My car's color is white w/ purple trim.

The paint shop should be able to put the decals on no problem.... but if you are comfortable putting them on yourself it will likely save you a couple hundred dollars. I have done a few myself & it really isn't that bad to do.
