Default True Duals+CME. No muffler?

Looks like I have to switch up my exhaust due to smog here in CA. I'm thinking my magnaflow exhaust will be too quiet after I put the stock manifolds, cats, and y pipe back on. I'm leaning towards getting a custom true dual exhaust made to exit the rear through a cme. Will the exhaust sound bad if I don't have mufflers??? Or do I have to figure out what kind of mufflers I want to mount period???

It will be loud and probably wont sound the best if you are running stock manifolds/cam.

you can do either or.
Run straight pipes after cats into CME or Add bullet mufflers into true duals.

Without mufflers it 'd probably sound flat, loud but just flat (boring).

That's what I was thinking that it probably wouldn't sound too good. Wouldn't bullets just be loud as well?

Bullets will be loud, but it will give the exhaust note some tone to it.

With stock manifolds and cats a true dual system through bullets will not be that bad. Would not be any louder the a SLP LMII ot TSP Rumbler. Should have a smoother tone as well.

I drove my car around for a long time with LT's, an ORY, and a cutout which was fun but I'm just over having an obnoxiously loud car. I actually like the loudmouth cat backs so maybe it isn't too bad? The plan as on now is to maybe put in a cam in the 224 range so that's why I'm a little worried about going with bullets
