any "little Mods" before tune??

any "little Mods" before tune?? ok as soon as my LT's get here, i am going to take the plung..no not marriage 
and drive to dallas to get my car tuned. Does anybody have any recommendations on any last minute mods that are fairly cheap that would net gains with my new tune. I was thinking like maybee ported TB or maf ends or any other little stuff like this that i dont want to do after my tune but before so they can optimize it. The reason im doing the tune is after the LT's and ORY ill be done modding for a while as my house is in need of some attention and all my peanuts have been going to my car. 
Just didnt want to get the tune and somebody say Hey you should have got some MAF ends or you should have done this and that..dont want to spend alot of money but dont want to miss out on some easy hp either.anyone want to chime in and throw a few suggestions?
