Oh man....new engine time. Its gonna blow any day.......
Just kidding........that's totally normal to see. Some people see less, some see more. No problem at all. Its normal engine shedding. As long as you don't see solid hard chunks or little tiny hard dots of metal....you're fine. Your oil filter catches all that stuff.
My 436ci stroker saw that at every oil change all the way up to 173,000 miles.
I would do an engine flush at your next oil change.
Before you drain the old oil out, pour a full can of Gunk engine flush into the crankcase. Let it idle for 5 minutes. IDLE ONLY. Drain it. Pour 4 quarts of cheap oil, any brand, any weight. Let it idle for 5 minutes. Drain that out. Change the filter. Then fill with your good oil........DRIVE.....

Every engine has it......the magnet is making it look bad. Touch it with your finger and it will literally dissolve like liquid on your finger.......its not "pieces" of metal.
Stop worrying......its absolutely normal for all engines to shed like that, in all stages of their life.

I unscrewed it, leaving the magnet attached....I also had duct tape holding it on just in case I hit a real sharp pothole or something, didn't want to lose it.......gave it to my friend and he band-sawed it open. Metal shavings covering the entire bottom inside of the oil filter.
Im going to check it again at my next oil change, to see what it catches after 2,500 miles on this engine.....

^^^No, he is saying that he has/for you to get a VERY strong neodymium/rare earth magnet called a Filter Mag, which clamps onto (by shear, STRONG magnetic force) the outside can of which ever metal oil filter you choose to use (it is curved like the outside of the can).
I have the 'racing' version on my Amsoil EaO 83 right now, and even though it is ~10 years old it is NOT going anywhere, even over the WORST potholes/bumps/dips or washboard roads (that's how strong the magnetic force is, it must be pryed off of my filters with a small crowbar, or large screwdirver!)!!
