Default New guy

I'm from winnipeg mb. And i just bought a 2002 ss. Car came with the ls6 intake swap and all receipts from the machine shop that rebuilt the ls1 including the dyno papers And receipts where the 6 speed was all rebuilt at local shop which I have used to build my th350's and 400's for racing. It has a respectable 410 rwhp 425 rwtrq. I have ported out and polished the throttle body did the free ram air mod but what i am wondering is if anyone has used the dremel on air inlets on the hood where it meets the air box would it be worth the trouble and time? The way it is designed it looks very resricted in the amount of air that gets through the little rectangles they have cut out. The dremel would make quick work of opening it up more but would I just be wasting my time?
