Was working on the car today and noticed this hose ripped. Haven't had the car for long and today was the first day I noticed it.

It's in the 90 degree turn right there above the bolt in the center of the picture. What is that part called so I can order it and how important is it?

Thanks

PCV check valve is in there. Id try to tape it up and salvage it as best as you can. It will have a vaccum leak there soon if not already.

It's what holds the PCV valve. The only way to replace it would be to replace the entire PCV hose that wraps around the intake manifold. For less than what that would cost, you can do the 2004 LS6 PCV conversion (less than $100). Even cheaper would be to just wrap some electrical tape around it to ensure there's not a vacuum leak.
