Crazy part is its been making the same magnitude of noise / vibration for id say at least 2 years, and several trips down the 1/4 mile lol. IDK how its lived this long.

My wifes all wheel drive 04 tahoe had this issue with the front diff. It was ran for about 3 years like that. I finally pulled it and repalced just the carrier bearings. Afterwards all was quiet again with no noise at all. Give it a try, ya never know.

I ran for 3 years with a bad passenger side carrier bearing,noise never increased.
