Looks like the 5.0 was setup right shame it broke. Would of liked to see it run the Z. Great vid as always!

What is up with the Manual transmissions on the 5.0? Seems like they do break a lot.

mt82's are just garbage. Every once in a while you'll see someone with a modified 5.0 and they'll never have an issue. then theres cars like the one in the vid that go thru a crap ton of them. lol.

Good races tho op! Loved that c5z race. I'd love to find a nice c5/6z around me to get some good runs in with. I've always wanted to race either one but never find any interested.

Tremec always worked well in the past. Maybe they should have stuck with them instead. Deciding to go ditch the Tremecs with the 5.0s must have been an economic decision.

You'd have no problems with a c5z but a c6z stock with a driver be all you want lol.

Hows that pullied combo work on pump gas and the street as far as heat soak?

My setups changing, so I dont want to run a stock c6z.

On the street the setup wasn't bad tho. If I give the car a minute or so inbetween runs I dont notice or see any difference in how the car pulls. If you'd do it with e85 it'd be even less of an issue.

I think it's part of it but not all of it. especially if one in the vid had an rxt and still broke the trans. I've heard a few that are crazy noisy which shouldn't be caused by a clutch issue.

You on spray would be plenty for some c6z I didnt realize your times till now.

I try the 6lb lower. I made 18.4lbs and was having pumps problems since I change to some new stock pumps I never went back to try it again and wanted to make sure it was safe and getting enough fuel so went back to just a upper. I chewed up a new belt On the way home on the 6lb setup and squeak was horrible.
