Default ported 243 heads

torched a valve in my ported heads so looking for another set.. let me know what you have..

On your next set have the combustion chambers and face of the valves ceramic coated.
That's what's being done to my 243's right now, along with a port job.

If these are of interest pm me an offer as I'm undecided whether I should use the 317's I'm having the same work done to or use the ported/ceramic coated 243's.

this is my second valve to go away.. the first was a stock 243 ex valve, car had a fuel pressure issue and went lean.
these heads shouldn't have had an issue. afr was 10.8 to 11 on the run before I checked.. these were manley stainless valves.. it seems from all the reading I have done that for extreme use such as I am doing racing constantly that people are running either Inconel or ti ex valves.. Im replacing the seat in this head and installing Inconel ex valves.. these will take a higher egt of which at this point I can only assume is the demise of the lesser ex valves..
