Sheesh a guy gets a few inches under a tire on a launch and he thinks he's the man. You're lucky I was your "Audio visual engineer" Richie otherwise those pics would not be possible. Great job nonetheless. Just watch out after saturday I might be hanging them high off the T-brake. With your slicks and skinnies of course

One day I will launch like that
Joe do you honestly think a 10-bolt would take that type of launch.
How many clutches have you gone through and do you think a Star Spec Stage 3 Kevlar disc would hold a launch like that??

11-29-2001, 09:48 PM
What kind of 60's did you pull on those launches?
Richie Carbone
11-29-2001, 10:40 PM
HaulinTA it's a Moser 12 bolt
BIGBOS My Star stage III Carbon only lasted 2500 miles and it never worked as good as the Cartek I have now, which is clutch #10
jhelms my 60' times ranged from 1.72-1.65 those Hoosier Slicks are really sticky

I've seen a couple of people pull the wheels with a stock 10-bolt. Of course it was only a couple of inches and in an automatic...but it can be done!
