Default 2 stage problem

Well finally got off of butt and finished up the install. Got everything mounted wires ran and covered neatly. I go to turn the arming switch on and the first stage clicks, what the hell. Turn arming switch off butwhen I push the button for the second stage the solenoids and relay click. Checked both relays for both stages and there good. Think I might have the relays wired wrong. Any help is much appreciated.

Are you using a WOT switch on the first stage? Is it a 3 prong or 2 prong?

Its a 2 prong switch. Let me try to explain a little better. In my room I connected all wires, relays, 1st wot switch and 2nd stagee button and got power from a motorcycle battery...everything worked correctly. Only thing different when installed in car was added the nx universal 3 switch and thats when I started having the problem. As soon as I flip the switch to arm the 1st stage solinoids click and 2nd stage can be activated with car on/off or arm switch on/off.

How is all this tied into the arming switch? Do you have any pictures or diagrams I can reference?

Cant find my diagrams for the system and I followed the directions for the nx universal switches. I'm thinking its something in the switches, since everything worked before they went in.

If you think there is a problem with the switches, send them in and I'll test them for you. The copper prong on the arming switch is the ground. (For reference on the order of the prongs and what goes to what.) The microswitch should be a two prong switch and it does not matter which prong is which on that one. It sounds like for the second stage you have it wired to something constant 12v outside of the arming switch or on the 12v incoming wire for the arming switch.

Think I might just start back from scratch. Hey can you draw me up a 2stage wiring diagram. Just 2 relays, 2 nitrous, 2 fuel solenoids and a purge, wot switch and button. Iwant to stack the shots.

the second stage kit should get its power from the first stage off the green wire so that the fuel pressure cut off and wot switch can shut down both stages. Like this:

There is many different ways of doing it, you could either use the second stage on a push button, or you could run it off of a WOT switch, and just flip on the arming switch for the second stage to start activating. You could also wire in a delay timer, several different ways of doing it.
