hehe brings back memories lol make sure you get yourself a 160 stat and tuning...that'll smooth out the engine movement to a minimum.

Thanks. The car is at Lane's in Irving, TX waiting for a 3" x-pipe with flo-pro twister mufflers. RPM in Lewisville, TX did the install.

I have a 160 thermostat and tuning should be this Monday @ RPM.

How did it drive without tuning? Did you drill out the TB Plate? Did you adjust the idle screw? Is the car an auto trans?

FWIW on my car it ran like absolute crap till i got a tune, i adjusted the idle screw almost as far as it would go to get it to idle in D period...even then it would stall at most stoplights...i had to two foot it to my tuner.

It drives like crap. It is a M6, and I didn't drill out anything on the TB blade. If you go to the TSP website, price out a rollmaster double timing chain, ported LS6 oil pump, and the 231/237 with crane double springs, tit retainers, etc. package. That will give you the price!

Hey, it sounds like my car! I made 412 RWHP through a cutout, also have a pulley and ported TB (plus your mods).

Well I put it on the dyno today and pulled 375/350. I really need to do the free ram air mod, ported TB, and a pulley.

It is a Dynojet. It is on a lift, and the shop places a fan under the airbox, so if the bottom was cut out, it would help the car to breathe.

No codes now since it has been tuned. I'll try to get a clip of the car with the dual exhaust.

Sounds mean Looks like your car is struggling pretty bad with that cam though...nothing a good tune wont fix. Reminds me of when I first put my cam in and how at every stop I had to brake with the left foot and throttle blip with the right just to keep the damn thing idling LMAO!

I would also expect much better numbers on the dyno than before. I will have to agree with onyx on the free ram air mod, its probably not gonna help you much (I still have it though). Ported tb has shown slight gains but the pulley is a definite must + it allows for much quicker revs

Good luck

Have you got a tune yet? I'm very interested in how the thing drives post-tune.
