Question Check Engine Light Help

Hi everyone, I own a 2001 Trans Am WS6 with 41k miles

My check engine light recently came on for an 02 sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 2). The code stated that this sensor has low voltage.

I first replaced the 02 sensor and cleared the code, but the check engine light came back on. I then bought another sensor for the fear of the 1st being broken, but that did not help either. No wires are frayed, so I am pretty stumped.

Keeping all of this is mind, what are the other possible solutions to this problem?

Thanks!

Are you sure you replaced the correct sensor? (I always do mine in pairs.)

If so, you could have a bad CAT, but Id expect other issues to be going on if that was the case.

If you have no other issues then I'd get a scanner that can check the actual voltage and waveforms to see what is going on.

I ended up replacing the other rear sensor as well for ***** and giggles and that solved the problem.
