Testing waters here. I recently got a new job and don't drive the car like I used to...probably drove it 7-8 times all year...sits in my garage 99% of the time. I was planning on doing a FI build with it, but I'd basically have to change the entire car besides the suspension to get it to the point where I'd want it to be; I might be better off buying something more geared towards what I want to do. This thread is just a feeler...don't need the money and if it doesn't sell I'll just go through with a build.

As is, this car is as reliable as it gets. Drive it to and from the track and make 10 second passes all day long. It has never left me stranded, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. It is one of the faster NA cars around.

The car is a 2000 Formula hardtop. I bought it from its original owner in 2007 when it was bone stock. The car had about 68K miles and was owned by an older woman, who was selling it because she and her husband were starting a family. It now has about 93-94K miles on it (heads/cam/intake only have about 5,000 miles on them). I’d rate the exterior 8.5/10 and interior 9/10...it's very clean. Car has a clean title…Carfax is perfect and no accidents ever (have Carfax available if you're interested).

The car amazes a lot of people…for being an all motor car it works extremely well. Many, many locals can vouch for it.

On to the modifications…

Appearance/Exterior
- 5000K HID conversion
- 30% tint all around
- VFN WS6 fiberglass hood (gel coated and painted with black primer)
- Centerline Convo Pro wheels (rear wheels are 15x8.5 with 5” backspace, fronts are 15x4…all wheels fit without grinding the calipers)
- Mickey Thompson 28x10.5 ET Street Pro drag radials (bought this year, only have about 5 passes on them), Moroso DS2 bias ply front runners
- Custom trunk battery relocation, very clean install with all wires hidden

Interior
- Corbeau FX1 Pro seats
- JVC HD FM head unit with USB/iPod connect
- Auto Meter transmission temp gauge, AEM wideband (both in pillar pod)
- Hidden switches for line lock and electric cutout

Performance

- Comp camshaft (custom made specifically for my application, matches setup perfectly)
- Trick Flow 220 heads ported by TEA, heads include custom TEA 2.04 LS3 intake valves, Ferrea stainless 1.575 exhaust
- Trick Flow 7.500 pushrods
- TEA Gold dual valve springs (rated to .650 lift)
- Fel Pro .041 heads gaskets
- LS7 lifters
- Comp Trunion upgraded rockers
- Melling performance oil pump
- Double row timing chain
- NGK spark plugs
- Powerbond underdrive pulley
- FAST Motorsports E85 custom tune

- Meziere electric water pump

- Texas Speed 1 7/8” stainless long tube headers
- Texas Speed 3” off road y pipe
- SLP Dual / Dual 3” stainless catback (I’ve had multiple exhaust setups and this is my favorite by far)
- DMH 3” stainless electric cutout

- FAST 102mm intake manifold port matched to the heads
- PTM 102mm throttle body
- Fast Toys 98mm lid
- Chrs1313 ram air kit
- K&N drop in filter
- 160 degree thermostat

- Siemens 60# injectors
- Aeromotive 340 fuel pump
- Billet catch can

- Royal Purple or Mobil 1 fluids only

Drivetrain

- Finish Line Transmissions 4L60E Level 4 Transmission
- Yank SS4000 torque converter
- B&M 24K transmission cooler
- Narrowed Moser 12 bolt with Strange lightweight spool, 4.10 gears (refreshed last year…all new fluid, gasket, and bearings), wheels tuck nicely
- Strange chromoly driveshaft

Suspension/Brakes
- Burkhart anti roll bar
- UMI adjustable lower control arms
- BMR adjustable panhard bar
- UMI weld in subframe connectors
- Strange front adjustable coilovers with 300 lb. springs
- Strange single adjustable rear shocks
- UMI tunnel mounted adjustable torque arm
- Drilled/slotted rotors with ceramic pads
- SJM ABS delete kit
- SLP line lock kit

No expense was spared and the car is built extremely well. It is not some hack job of random parts thrown together like 90% of most modded f-bodies...everything is well thought out and it works! It makes awesome power and runs very well at the track. Due to having a spool, not having ABS, etc, it is not going to drive like a stock car. But, it does have good street manners and I have no problem driving it anywhere. I have many more photos...just ask. Might consider trades for an LS swapped fox body or something interesting that's quick (can add some cash for the right car). Thanks for looking!
