Don't use the Walbro F90000262 with E-85
I thought this deserved a thread of its own to save someone else the expense and hassle. Don't use the Walbro F90000262 with E-85. The brushes dissolved in 2 months. This is the white filter sock after I cut it open.

I take it that is not their e85 recommended pump???
Or you just switched to e85 and thats the mess from the previously used system with regular fuel????
E85 cleans **** really well and if you had a dirty fuel tank and lines. It will look just like that.
Used to tell those who switched to check the filter ever couple weeks till it stopped getting debris build up in it. Many had clogged filters in under 2 weeks when making the switch.

Nah. Car had been on e-85 for a year before the pump install. Tank was clean. I've used walbro 255's for years with no problems but this pump is different. I guess that is why they came out with the E-85 compatible 267.
