Default I might have found why my ABS light is on

I pulled the wheel speed sensor out of the rear end to check the connections and i noticed the magnet has a chewed up/broken tip at the bottom of the magnet. I dont know what its originally supposed to look like but im pretty sure its not supposed to look like that though. could this be causing my ABS light to appear?

Sorry I'm a little late. Tomorrow I will pull it back out and post a pic.
