Turbo 350 or glide in Turbo Camaro ?

Turbo 350 or glide in Turbo Camaro ? The car is ( 80 Camaro ) 3320 with me , 6.0 LS S 475 turbo with a turbo 350 , transbrake , 4500 stall and a 3.42 gear. At ten pounds boost it has gone 10.40's with a 1.42 60 foot but traction has been inconsistent. Next year I'm jumping to the s 480 and will b running more boost so I am a bit worried about traction.The trans needs freshining but I have found a glide with aftermarket pump, aluminum drum , 2.03 TCI low gear and brake. The car sees alittle bit of street . Stay with the 350 or try the glide ?
