KR rears its ugly head
Now that the weather has gotten warm again, a problem recurred that hadn't happened since last summer. I go around a corner, the A4 shifts into second, I give it gas and there is no power for few seconds. At first, I thought "what is going on?", but then I remembered it doing it last summer. It doesn't seem to happen when the A/C is on - because the fans are running, I'm guessing. I'm thinking it must be KR. The best gas we get here is 91. Would a lower temp thermostat with reprogramming of the fans help?

Just reprogramming fans would probably suffice.
The lower temp 'stat, if you are OK at lower
outside temps, isn't necessary (with an airflow
surplus the 'stat is setting the temp and it
sounds like is OK). Fan programming alone will
give you up to 30F ECT drop.
