Where to get my hugger orange z28 painted
My car is a wreck right now almost everything needs to be painted so I want to just do the whole car. Can anyone recommend a good shop in il that will do good work and not bend me over on the price?
I have front and rear bumpers to go in it. The door is cracked and a couple dings and dents need to be taken care of. I want to redo the top it's starting to bubble a little.
Anyone have a idea how much to fix or where to get it done at?

My advice is to see who your insurance company refers the most. Then talk to them, get written estimate. Also get a warranty in writing. Take alot of pictures of before and after the car done. I watch to much peoples court obviously but judge writing & pics all the time. Save yourself alot of headache that way.

Just an FYI, the bubbles on the roof can't be fixed with a repaint, you'll need a new roof panel. This situation is covered in great detail here:

Not sure what your budget is, but for a complete repaint, roof replacement and to repair the other body issues it's going to be expensive to get it done right if you want top notch work.

Just remember the old adage.....good won't be cheap, cheap won't be good. It's not about bending you over on the price, it's about what your budget is and what the expectation is with that budget. I would put a ballpark on an "economy" paint w/ body work at ~$6k. That said, I'm sure you can find a place that says they'll do it for $4k
