Default 1998 fuel sender

Okay guys here is my scenario. Im LS1 swapping my 1996 z28. My car no longer has the factory fuel sender. I have a 1998 trans am, so Im considering swapping the entire fuel tank assembly into my car. I want my stock fuel gauge to work properly. I know the LT1 sender is 0-90ohms, but i also know that most if not all LS1s are like 30-270? I read somewhere that the 1998 LS1s are still 0-90 ohms, is this correct? If so, it should make the swap very simple. The reason I want to swap is because I already have a dual pump LS1 fuel pump set up that i would prefer to use rather than buy another LT1 pump assembly and modify that one. If anyone has any info i would be much appreciated

I think you are correct. Read a thread on ls1.com a while back on this.

This is the part number for the 0-90 ohm fuel level sender
for the 4th gen fuel pump module.
