Default clunck from the rear

Hey guys,
I have just under 53000 on the clock (06 gto). Never been to the drag strip but have had plenty of wheel hop from doing 40rolls over the years. I have noticed some whine coming from the rear about a month ago.I thought it was from taking out the rear seats, made sense to me.
Just last week I changed the trans fluid with napa dex 3 and rear diff fluid with lucas gear oil. Thought it was time for some up keep.
Now I have a big clunck from stop to first and a vibration when stop to first mid turn, like at an intersection. Is it my gears? Axles? Drive shaft? I figure its the dif bc it vibrates mid turn. I'd like to get your input before bringing it to a mechanic who might not no squat about my car but act like he nos everything and miss diagnosis it.

I am not sure about your '06 GTO but my '00 T/A called for posi additive when I changed the axle lube. I used the GM posi additive and Valvoline full synthetic 75w-90.
When I changed out the tranny fluid, I used valvoline Max life, which is good for all versions of Dex. So far, I have no issues.

Wow, I had no idea that additive actually did anything! I heard it made the posi slip a little bit but never thought there would be a clunk without it.
