Thanks Jimmy! Do you know if it took any "special massaging" to make it work

Mikey and Roman, both ARE cars, ran W's in 2001.
I saw Roman's car at ARE this past year, and he cut the back plastic a good amount since they grow quite a bit.

I didn't know M/T made a "W" in a 28x10.5 slick. That may make things interesting next time I order tires...
As far as fit, I run 28x10.5 ET Drags now, and I also have a pair of 28x13.5 ET Streets that are tight, but they do fit w/o rubbing.
Anybody have the tread/sidewall measurements of the 28x10.5W???

What's the "W" stand for?

it it stands for "wide"
it is a little wider than the true 10.5" tire and the tire also "grows" on the top end a lot to help mantain stability

its short for "WFO"...
which in turn is short for "WIDE F###ING OPEN!"

side wall is 11.7 for the regular...13.1 for the W
tread is 10.0 for the reg....10.9 for the W
diam is same...
W weights like 3 pounds more

I use the 28x12.5-15 ET Streets with very minor rubbing.
