918's & stock retainers?
I'm just wondering how many people are running 918's with the stock retainers or did you spend the extra cash on the comp titanium retainers?
For the price of the 918's with Ti retainers I could get a set of Patroit gold dual springs with seals, seats & Ti Retainers?
The cam I'm going to be running is an FM10 so the lift is well within the spec's on the 918's so I'm not worried about spring bind, but if it's recommended to get the comp ti retainers with the 918's I'm just gonna get the Patriot gold's for the warm fuzzy feeling that the extra spring gives me.
Oh yes I did use the search feature but couldn't find the answer I was looking for.

I would go with the Patriot Duals over the 918s. I've had both and the 918s had lost alot of seat pressure after only 4800 miles. The Patriot Golds are a very well built spring and I was told could hit 40-50K miles useage out of them with my measely .563 lift.

In regards to longevity I've got over 50K abusive miles on my 918's with stock retainers with .578 and .589 lift cam. If you want the added "insurance" of a dual spring then I'd just get the duals. However, I'm not aware of any high (30K mile+) reports on the patriots yet, but I'm sure it's a good spring. I wouldn't lose any sleep running 918's though if that is what your budget entails, I don't.
