Oil leaking from the "weep hole"?
Hey there,
My car, a 2001 pontiac firebird formula, just started leaking oil from this weep hole between the trans and engine. It only leaks when the car is running and gets to operating temps and about one drip every 6 seconds. Are there any common problem areas that might be the cause?

Thats not a weep hole...per say....its just the way they made the casting.
Looks like possibly rear main seal........if its definitely oil thats dripping out.
Have to remove the tranny to fix it. Only takes maybe 20 minutes to replace the seal itself. Only let someone do it that has done it before.....it has to be done right or it will still leak.

just an FYI, I see a similar issue sometimes on my laptop when I try to upload multiple pictures and is has something to do with the file sizes of the combined pictures exceeding the upload limit, if I upload 1 pic then add a second pic to the same post (hitting the actual UPLOAD button between each one) it will go through, the other issue is these newer smart phones take REALLY big pictures (as far as web forums are concerned) usually in the 4MB range a piece, you could try resizing the image or reduce the megapixel setting for images you take solely to upload here to reduce file sizes and make uploads easier.
