Default 1998 Trans Am WS6

Year: 1998
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $5500
Mileage: 180
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): KS
Color: Red
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

I have a 1998 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am for sale. Car is in good shape for the age and miles. Car runs good and has plenty of power.dum I've gotten a tin of complements on the car.

A few of the plusses on this car are, JL Audio sound system, built radar detector, Bullydog Watchdog system, Volant ram air cai, and Flowmaster exhaust system.dum

A couple of negatives are, there is a tear in the leather in the driver's seat, the console lid is broken (both of these are very common on these cars), and the trans is difficult to get into 4th.dum

I'm asking $5500 for the car as it is, if it does not sell soon I will fix the trans and the price will go up to $6000. Which is still a $1000 under nada book value.

NADA clean retail for all available options looks like $5,250. KBB is much lower.

If you are gonna nada a car you should probably get the car right. Clean retail is $7325. And kbb is a joke.

Nada is the retail book, banks will only go by that book if the buyer is purchasing from a car lot. The reason the values are higher because it takes into account the dealer cost for inspections, reconditioning(cleaning) and that they have to offer a warranty for a certain amount of time. Banks will go off of kbb if purchasing from a private party, learned that selling my truck at the moment.

Not trying to be rude, just shed some light. Goodluck and bump for a KS car.

Are you a dealer? Just curious. Have seen the car parked a few places locally.
