Im building a boosted 6.0w/ s480 turbo, TH400 not sure what gear would be best... Street driven to cruise in's and such... Drag strip 2-3 times a month...
Any help would be greatly appreciated

It has stock 10 bolt.. I know bad choice! But working with what I got.... I just got an open carrier so I can run mini spool so it really doesn't have a gear on it now..

Depends on how hard your going to push it, if you trap around 140 a 3.42 would be good, 150+ a 3.23 or 3.08 would work good. Taller gear's don't seem to hurt your et any once your turbo

I had 3 different gear ratios in my Camaro. A 2.73, 3.00, 3.23, and 3.25. The 2.73's and 3.00 were great for cruising and doing highway pulls but didn't work well with my combo at the track. My car ran the best with the 3.25 in my 9 inch, so a 3.23 in your 10 bolt would work well.

10 bolt being fed by a turbo and a transbrake. that's worse than a M6 with a 10 bolt. Torque multiplication of the convertor and then being hit from the transbrake. Please have your 1st run videotaped.
