Default 4l60e questions (99 silverado 4wd)

So I'm new to the 4l60e transmissions. Until now I've had t56 or th350/400s. So I'm looking to do some bolt ons to the truck (cai, full exhaust, tune, stall, shift kit, maybe a small cam). This is my daily driver and I will still tow with it. Anyway what shift kit are you guys going with? I seen transgo is popular. Also what stall speed would work well. Can I order a converter that would fit a 98-02 fbody? Right now the truck is bone stock (down to the air filter lol) 97k miles.

The only shift kit detailed here is the Transgo HD2.
The Sonnax billet 4th gear servo is useful for towing applications; their billet 2nd gear servo is probably overkill for your needs, but is designed to work well with the 4th gear servo.
Your post is confusing - you first mention a truck and then an F-body. And your signature is definitely not stock.
For a converter recommendation we need your engine specs, rear end ratio, vehicle weight and more.
The converter for all LSx engines are interchangeable.

Sorry when I mentioned fbody converters I meant because they both had the 4l60e transmissions. Most sites don't list too many options if you search under a truck. So that's why I wondered if ordering while searchin under a car would make a difference. Like revmax converters I don't think they list for a truck.

Truck weight - 4400lbs
3.73 gears
33" tire
motor is stock.

Understood.
Other than 2WD versus 4WD, all 4L60E/4L65E/4L70E behind LS engines, truck or car, are mechanically compatible and their converters interchangeable.
I don't want to suggest a converter for your truck, but either call one of the sponsors, or perhaps they or other expert will give you suggestions here. I'll guess (just a guess) something in the 2800 stall range. Skip the under $450 converters as they have flimsy lockup clutches.

I'm just wondering if I'd be better off going to a 4l80e and sale this one while it still works 100 % lol.
