Someone Went to the Drag Strip in a 2015 Corvette Z06



I believe that the only things that move faster than new high-performance cars are the people who tune and/or drag race them. They don't seem to waste any time when it comes to turning wrenches or spinning tires into rubber crowd cologne. The video you're about to watch is proof of the latter. Youtuber Horsepower Photos says it shows the "first 2015 C7 Z06 Stingray Corvette at the [Royal Purple Raceway] drag strip."

I was there that night (you can see me in the background) and got a close look at this car. To tell you the truth, I didn't get the same feeling as I did when I saw the C6Z for the first time. This car just doesn't do it for me, Ill stick with my C6Z I like it much better.

11.7 @ 120 with what looks to be like a 2.19 60' and I bet doing such a long burnout on street tires didn't help either, they just need a quick dust off. Strong car to be sure but a C6Z is in that territory as well....
