Default Headers + O2 Sims = SES (Code P1133)

I've had long tubes on my car for 3 months now. I put on O2 sims when the headers went on. My SES light came on just the other day. I took it to my dealer, and they pulled code P1133.

Would my problem be with the O2 simulators, or is the problem with the O2 sensors? What would be the best remedy to cure this situation?

The car seems to be running fine, the only adverse effect has been a 5-10 percent reduction in fuel economy.

P1133 - Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 1. That is the front drivers side O2 sensor. Nothing to do with your sims.
