Default Help Cleaning Inside Wheels

I was detailing my car today, getting ready for a show on monday, and I started to clean the inside of the wheels and there is dirt and grime baked on and won't come off. I tried simple green and dawn with a scrub brush and it helped a little. Is there something else to clean them with, or am I stuck scrubbing for hours?
Thanks

If they are painted you could remove them from the car and try some sort of rubbing compound if they are painted. I'm not sure about chrome, maybe try a good wheel degreaser.

i used turtle wax, it removed all the stains and brake dust, plus it keeps new grime from sticking to the rims...worked a lot better than i thought it would, plus it sure makes the rims shine...
