I was curious about the 500lb/hr rating so I did a little research. It looks like that pump flows somewhere around 300-320lph. So, it flows a little less than the 340lph pumps offered from other manufacturers. My preference would be to stay away from the Accel pump and go with one of the other brands that have proven themselves in the past.
