I am about to throw in my s60 and I decided I want the aluminum strange cover. I understand a few people had issues with it. Did you have any problems and any advice? It's a shame because it is such a cool looking piece. Also, any weight difference between that And the stock steel one?

I run the stock steel one... not pretty looking, but I painted a nice silver color. U could order LPW low-profile stud girtle it u wanted, that clears fine.

I swapped the stamped steel cover for the aluminum 'S' cover on my S60 and have no issues but the gas tank on my '94 Trans Am is different than yours.
This thread has some good info on S60 covers and clearance, also a couple pics I posted of the cover to panhard bar clearance.
