Drag Racing Tech - New best and tach question

I ran the car since putting on Kooks LTs,4.10s,275/40/17 nittos,ported t/body.I got in 2 runs and netted a 13.03@108.9 and a 13.04@108.5 with a 1.90 and 1.96 respective 60'.Thats near a 1/2 second inprovement and I didn't really hammer the car off the line because I haven't gotten my launch down very good.I also noticed shifting at 6K I go thru a little at or above the same RPM at the trap,and the limiter never kicked in.Could the tach be that slow? Time for a harlan.


P.S. forgot the air filter which is worth a solid tenth,could have got a 12 :bang:

stock tack really sucks bad, and you wouldnt notice much gain from removing any aftermarket air filter.

I use a stock type fram and many times before I have removed it and it was good for near a tenth consistantly.

i know thats not what i meant by aftermarket. i meant holly, k&n, ect.
