Default Largest in-tank pump on stock system? How does returnless system work?

Ready to do a heads/cam/ ported intake, and guessing its time to upgrade fuel pump along with some 58 lb injectors.

I see a bunch of 255 lph fuel pumps but I also see 320 lph pumps being offered for same price or even cheaper.

I have searched and searched on here trying to find info on this. So now Im just seeing what the biggest pump people have run without changing the rest of the system.

Also If someone might educated me on the returnless system and how that works that would probably be helpful. What regulates it and how. Is it the pump and off of current draw or what?

Many have used 400 sized pumps in the stock bucket, which would be more than enough on your setup.

So a 320 will work without an issue then. Well I would see no reason not to go with a slightly bigger pump.
