Default LS1 Grand-Am Cup Cam, 239/251

Has anyone here used the LS1 Grand-Am Cup, 239/251 Duration @ 0.050, Racing Camshaft. What hp does this make with head work?

Has anyone used it without headwork?

239/251, 0.570", 106 lsa

I have it in a stock bottom end 346. SCCA/LPE/LS6 heads. It requires flycutting/notching the stock pistons.
42# GM-Bosch Injectors. Bought the Cam and Heads from SDPC. With an LSX 90 mm intake and Longtube headers. It put down 444 RWHP and 402 RWTQ through 4.10s. And many a "Tuner" told me it would NOT make decent power - when I bought the parts 18 months ago. Not bad for off the shelf parts and a low lift cam.
There are better, more powerful, cams available now - and they are easier to tune I believe. This one is open loop and was difficult to tune with fly-by-wire ( It would have been impossible for me to tune without NoGo's help ).

My buddy has it on his WS-6, with stock heads...I think he put down 370ish to the rear wheels in an A4...It's not a very friendly street cam but then again what is friendly ...I think that cam has a 106LSA...Since vacuum pressure isnt that high during low RPM he has to put the car in neutral, rev it up, then apply the brakes when he is commin to a stop ...

Yeah, I just got it last Thursday nite. I'll scan it and post it tomorrow. Unfortunately they didn't plot my AFR ...oh well.

jrp - here's the sheet :

This is installed straight up - ICL @106.

I questioned the cross of HP/TQ not at 5252...they ( Phil at DynoTech Eng.) said it happens with the print out. I also checked with NoGo and he gave several reasons we could see this with Dynojet printouts. FWIW.
