Well, since you have 1000 saved up, why not save about 300 more and get yourself a stronger rear end. Better safe than sorry. What about heads and cam??Just a suggestion.

Stranger rear sounds like a good ider or maybe a trany cooler dozn't cost to much but helps out that 4L60E a lot then u will still be able to get the rear end in like a week or so.

I think putting the $1000 towards head porting would get you a much better return on investment than the LSX intake. I was reading a magazine review on that one and several other intakes compared to stock, and there hardly seemed to be much difference among them on the dyno graph.

I'd pass on the LSX and go with a LS6 and a cam.

Who tunes your car?

I think an LS-6 used intake (like maybe Mr. Junkyard
Man might not know that the '01 wreck's is any better
than the '99), a copy of HPTuners, and a Z06 MAF &
harness might get you the inlet-side airflow bump and
the ability to make it tuned right, and you just might
have enough left over for a used moderate cam &
better valvesprings.

the original owner put an LS6 cam in the Car but then took it out.. and but the stock one back in.. it has valvesprings and harden pushrods.. but.. wont a bigger cam get me even worse gas milleage?..

How much Gain in HP and Torque.. will i see From Port and Polished Heads?? more than i would get from LS6 or LSX intake?... the more mods i do.. wouldnt it be a lot better if i did get an upgraded manifold?

i looked at rear ends and gettin a good rear end.. and install is gunna be over 2000 unless i got a used one... and im not one to really buy used parts..

plus i was told that my 10 bolt wont break.. unless im pushing serious power.. becuase its an A4. i know a guy who had a 99 trans am.. wit heads cam and Nos and his rear end never broke once.. it was an A4.

You're going to have to get the intake to realize the full potential of your better breathing heads. There is no point in short stepping stuff because you'll be choking off some power.
