Default H/C installed Flow and Dyno inside!

Got my car back from AMS yesterday. Chris tuned it for me. Runs hellacious aside from some idling issues and some tranny slippage. Not sure on the shift points he set nor rev limiter so I will have to get in touch with him.

406.5 RWHP 396 RWTQ

This is through the stock MAF and Throttle Body.

It pulls hard all the way to 7k.
Took it to the tranny guy last night, it is having issues when shifting. Should have it back Friday. Which means I can do some more break in time before the 21st at Denton.

Well mods below in sig. I will scan the Dyno sheet and my Absolute Speed Flow sheet shortly and add it to this post.

Those numbers are with the valves uninstalled. I made similiar numbers but when the valves where in and used an Ls6 intake to flow with you looking more at .285 at .575 Putting a pipe there to flow in no way shape or form mimics the LS6 intake. But those are really good numbers regardless.

What in gods name are you talking about?????Dont be fooled....valves uninstalled????These heads are flowed much like many others. On an SF600 with a 2.02 valve that has a dial indicater on it.No smoke and mirrors...........Yeah bolt an intake on it and the flow numbers drop but so does every other head. The pipe comment is another one I am scratching my head on........Mimic an LS6 intake, where did that come from.Maybe I am missing something here.406hp thru an unlocked A4 is not too shabby.

What was it that you did? Just a head swap or heads and cam? Did you know you before HP #'s to compare it too for a total gain? I'm expecting a set of stage II heads shortly and was woundering what the total gains were.

Thanks

Is Absolute saying they are flow testing on a SF600? Are we talking about Absolute Speed? Like one of this sites sponsors? If so take a look at the flow bench in their pic! That is NOT a SF600! I own a SF600! The pic of the flow bench on Absolutes site "looks" like a home made bench and "looks" like it is setting against a garage wall. I know of 2 commercial flowbench makers and the bench pictured on Absolutes site is neither of the 2.
Just so we are clear, I am NOT saying they don't have one, I'm saying the one in the picture does not "look" like one.
Actually, I'm pretty sure SuperFlow has never changed the design of the SF300/SF600 since they were first introduced.

If I'm not mistaken that is an old picture on his web-site. I think he has upgraded since...

breath easy everyone, we have upgraded to an sf-600s with flow cam and port analyzer. we got the bench for its ease of use and its ability to produce 3-d port imaging, the old bench was hand built by me and is very close in accuracy, we have been unable to include the new bench in the web site but here is a few pics. <img src="http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SACvBPMTvK9CCMKz0yCzHa!!t**!sPRcl!qoVcTUpuD7ixH9E 3OCET6bAQ46pudmXRyIQMhCnw0NzPC1swoD1goo8rWPATueDOC O0KWiVBk5AAAAcXIsBA/EVMP0450.JPG" alt=" - " /> <img src="http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SADtAvUTOrBCCMKz0yCzHbMHiGNd4YGu61eVXrfs2bGHdX2ZN peO8Emoq7BQQ6rNXbw6HtKBErrdYsv6znnM!lIG7HM!KNBk!qS *AJBAcmpiAAAAcXJqAg/EVMP0452.JPG" alt=" - " />

Ok I don't know what you guys are doing with the cam specs.. But it is from Texas Speed and Performance. It is 109 with 3* advance. I didn't have any numbers from a dyno before this. I did not have a lot of money to throw at stuff like this. Anyways, the heads obviously flow like the Hoover damd to produce the #'s they have. I am very pleased with all my choices.
The idleing is something I am still working on. I just got it back from the tranny shop. Had a warped pump so it was slipping on my 2-3 shift.
I have to adjust the screw back out that controls the plate in the TB. I figure the idle will be somewhere in the 850-950 area.

Oh so you were indirectly taking a stab at Absolute.Thats what I thought but you seemed to beat around the bush.I'm glad you cut through the horse ****.I know my car "Absolutely" kicks *** at the strip.I went from 11.6's stock internals to 11.0's with a TR224 cam and a set of Absolute stage 2 heads that were flown on that same uncertified bench. No matter you'd be very surprised at how close the flow numbers were between his new bench and the hand made, uncertified, mounted on the garage wall bench.
