I think you'd be best off working with a local
tuner, if you have your own software, just to
get somebody who's got the tools (dyno &
wideband) and experience; maybe they will
cut you a break on a slow afternoon, on shop
rates etc. and you won't have to tolerate a
slow, sloppy correction process. The HPTuners
software is not going to be hard to pick up
quick, and you can be the one driving it - but
experience in what to tune first, and when to
move onto the next thing, is worth renting if
you don't have a good idea (and next time, you
will, investing in education basically).

i would think if someone does enought studying and asking lots of questions from board members you could possibly tune yourself.
just dont go too crazy on everything ASAP

Well, i'm about to go down that long and dirty road. I'm going to familiarize myself with the HP Tuners software and then put the blower on.
It would be nice if there were a place on this board for people to post thier mods and .bin files.
