What The Hell Is A Gage
I was driving my car today and was almost out of gas, and a red light came on that said "Check Gages". What the hell is a gage?

Actually it doesn't have anything to do with Canadians - it has to do with Engineers. Since the engineering profession can't spell worth a damn and uses the word gage more than anybody else (oh - just so nobody gets offended I'm an engineer myself), it has worked into the dictionary as the alternate spelling.
