Nitrous Oxide - one burnt plug

any of you guys running the nxl kit burnt any plugs? just pulled mine out the other day and number 7's electrode was melted. all the rest of the plugs look good. anybody have any ideas.

is it possible you put the wrong fuel or nitrous jet in that cylinder, or could you have used too much sealent in the fuel side connections and that is blocking the fuel? I don't have mine running yet, but that is just something I thought could be bad news when I was installing it the other night. Good luck Brian

yea make sure that those jets are correct for that nozzle like 6speeder said. how much did you spray?

just 120 for right now, on the dyno i had good air fuel ratio. I will check the jets when i get off work, i didn't even think about that :confused: ! thanks. i will let you know.

I will say this. If you are using a stock type fuel system, I have seen number 7 cylinder burn up on several different cars.

Check and make sure you dont have any trash in your jets.The orfice on those jets are so small a grain of salt could clog it up.That is why we suggest a clean install area.

is there a reason for that on a DP. i can see a wet kit not being able to get fuel to the rear cylinders but i would figure that a DP shouldnt have the same problem.

I don't see any reason for it, but for example, a vette with the NXL system was constantly burning number 7 at the shop. Search me...
