Default Can I use stock GM exhuast seals on the intake?

I'm just wondering if the factory GM exhuast seals can be used on the intake side? I was told the exhuast seals are Viton(brown) and the intake is some other material. Thanks.

Obviously the exhaust seals are designed to withstand higher temperatures than the intakes. The material used to meet that requirement probably compromises some other requirement to some degree. My guess is that the material used for the intakes makes a better seal (allows less oil migration) at lower temperatures. Valve seals are cheap and readily available. What might be the advantage to using exhaust seals on the intake side?

I got the new Crane Dual spring kit but I'm not 100% sure what valve seals to use. I heard that I can use the exhuast seals on the intake and that teh exhaust seals were better. Do u have a part # for viton valve seals?
