Default Predator say's......

I finally got the wife to read the live data on the highway the other night.
I kicked it to WOT at 60 and held it for a few seconds. My spark was at 31.4 deg and there was 0.00 KR. Can this be right? Is that was too much timing
for an A4 car? What elso should I look at when at WOT for performance gain.
(Newbie here with a tuner)

That's a lot more than most people get away with,
but that doesn't make it wrong. Might look at the
WOT O2s though, just to see if you're only taking
that much spark on account of being over-rich.
You wouldn't want to be over 920mV I think, more
like 890-900mV (and then, perhaps, less spark).

I'm with jimmy. The 2000s seem to run a little more timing. I run around 29 deg with my 00 A4 with 0 KR. My ltfts are slightly neg at cruise, my O2s read 900 to 915 @ WOT, & my a/f is 12.8 to 13.1 on the dyno. Your timing will be high when you first go WOT. Wait for the rpms to build up, like 4500+ & then read the spark & your O2s. If you get around 900mV, then leave it I'd alone.

The RPM's were foresure above 4500 as it shifted into 3rd at 5800 while WOT
and I let off around 90 mph much higher anad the wife would have flipped.
I was lucky to get her to watch the data to begin with.
When I get back home (2 weeks) my reworked 6.0 heads will be completed and I hope to do my H/C swap and then start tuning all over again.
But I wonder does that high of spark hurt my trap speed? Before I installed
a Predator tune I've gone 12.84@109.6? And in the last week or so my et's are still in the 80's and 90's but only around 106 to 107 mph. However my 60'
have improved to 1.85 on bald F1's thanks to a new T/C.
