Default Conditions needed to make A4 shift at WOT?? (HPTuners)

I was told that under the A4 shift speed tab in HPTuners that both the WOT speed vs. shift and WOT RPM vs. shift conditions need to be met before it will shift. Confused because both these conditions are not met when my car shifts with stock program? Does only one condition need to be met or what? I am preparing for my converter(tci 3500) swap tomorrow and am preparing to tune if my car bounces off the rev limiter.

Both must be met (exceed) to upshift at WOT. At
part throttle different tables are at play. If you
are upshifting, at WOT, below the MPH and RPM
settings, something (like your tach) may be a bit
off. What does the logger have to say about it?

ill have to check the logs after work but I do know that my RPM's are not hitting the values of 6400 and 6500 as needed at WOT according to my stock .bin file. These are the 1-2 and 2-3 WOT shift rpms according to this bin file from stock.

the stock bin shouldn't have the RPM set that high... more like 5500 or 5800 ....

You are correct though, the PCM needs to meet both conditions (it needs to see the MPH and it has to see the RPM to shift)

you sure that PCM is stock?
