Looking for some one that has painted the coil covers I plan on painting the coil covers and maybe the intake. Was there any special prep for the composite plastic? Did the paint shop sand them first or scuff them with a 3M pad? My paint guy has tried composite plastics in the past and has had problems with the plastic material fuzzing up and lifting when you spray the paint on, causing a rough finish that aproverbially looks like crap.

Do a search on here for "FRC" or "Fuel Rail Cover" and you'll find plenty of information, including a paint write-up. Normally I'd do the search and post my results but its after 2AM and I'm tired.
