Default Wheel appearance question

I am looking at buying some bmw wheels for my ta. The offset is a positive 42 mm and they are 18x9.5. I know they will fit but will they look funny as if they are tucking too far into the wheel wells? I really want to fill the wheel wells out especially since i am currently running the 16x8 inch stockers.

Please let me know how this offset is going to affect the appearance when compared to lets say.... a 18x9.5 +56mm offset zo6 wheel application.

You'll be fine. The wheels will actually come out more compared to a +56 offset.

Black 98 TA

check out the post I put in on the Pro Line racing wheels. I'm at work and cant send the pics again but check it out. As I said in the post, they are BWM rims and I got them in Germany, where I'm at now. You'll of course need to get closed end lugs and make sure you check the back spacing. I ran into that problem. I knew that it wouldn't fit right and the guy at the rim shot said that it was no problem.

When the rims came that didn't have the right spacers and I had to wait like a week for them to custom make the correct spacers.

good luck.

The offset will look very nice, as MadIce stated the offset will move the wheel outwarded compared to a 56mm offset, but not far enough to stick out. I run 38 mm offset wheels on my SS, so, as long as the bolt pattern fits you are good to go.
