Need help with spark plugs I have a 99 SS with 34K on the clock and I decided to pull the #1 plug to have a looksee, and to my surprise it is a NGK PTR5C-13's! I guess some one has already changed these plugs once. I was expecting to find the factory plugs. Anyway, are these good plugs to run in my car? I have herd of the NGK TR55's being used, but not this plug. The plug looks pretty clean, I don't know if I even need to change them. Any thoughts?

GM used various plugs during the ls1 reign, NGK's were one of them if i recall. i'd replace them only so you know when the last time they were replaced were. its always good to do a tune when you first get a usesd car so you can start a fresh maintenace scheduel
