So, in my excitment about the LS2 press release I went to tire rack to see how one could address the GTO's most obvious fault (all season rubber and a rather pedestrian-styled 17" rim). That's when I noticed that two recomended rims for the GTO were the 18"x8" ASA ST3 and ST4.
ST3

ST4

Hmmmmm.... look familiar?
ST3 on CLK500

ST4 on CL65 AMG

So I have to wonder, are they running the same offset and bolt pattern as the CLK? If so there is a much wider selection of rims out there than Tire Rack would let on?
