Default Bigger Cam Gain Anything?- Spun Bearing

I have a spun rod bearing in my heads/ cam/ spray car. My question is if I go with valve relief forged pistons, would I get much benefit in a higher duration/ lift cam????? I currently have a .232.236/.595.601 lsa114.
Any thoughts?? Just wondering before I spend the money on new pistons. If the larger cam won't make more power, I dont know that I want to spend the money on the pistons. If it would help, I need to step up. BTW, I think I am going with stock rods with ARP rod bolts, and factory crank.
Thanks.

You might want to upgrade the whole bottom.
Callies Rods, Diamonds slugs and get your crank nitrated. This way you won't have to do it again soon.

What were your revs??

Actually, the bearings look o.k.?? Dont know what was up with the knocking?
Going with rods/pistons, forged of course.
Only revs to like 6500.
